HIGH ENVIRONMENTAL PERFORMANCE ARCHITECTURE

Shading, Ventilation and Solar Mechanics Study

From the analysis of projected shadows to the examination of building orientation, we delve into every detail to underscore the sun's impact at various times of the day. Additionally, we suggest and devise air renewal through cross ventilation, leveraging the prevailing wind direction. Solar mechanics inform the layout of circulation systems to provide thermal insulation, thereby optimizing energy consumption.

Energy Efficiency: Beyond Photovoltaic Generation


The implementation of solar photovoltaic systems not only seeks to obtain minimum savings of 20% in common areas, thus avoiding the emission of 1.1 tons of CO2 per year, but also extends to enhancing lighting efficiency through LED technology in all areas.

Additionally, we provide solar kits for apartments and certain offices, which supply 40% of electricity consumption and prevent the emission of 8 tons of CO2 per year. 

Domotics: Intelligent Control for Efficiency

The home automation systems proposed for homeowners allow intelligent control of lighting from mobile devices. Energy saving, security and presence simulation functions are integrated through an application, guaranteeing a maximum consumption of 35% in lighting.

Water Management: A Sustainable Perspective

 

Rainwater harvesting, approximately 350m3 net per year, becomes a key resource for the fire-fighting network, irrigation systems, toilet flushing in common areas, and sanitary flushing for apartments and apartment-offices. Water-saving devices for faucets and toilets, together with ultra-saving faucets for showers, reduce potable water consumption in showers by up to 70% resulting in estimated overall savings of 45% in apartments and 35% in apartments-offices.

 

Waste Management: Fostering the Circular Economy

Our buildings feature areas dedicated to waste disposal and separation, including a recycling point for usable waste and a composting system for organic waste, which accounts for 60% of the waste generated. These initiatives prevent approximately 54 tons per year from reaching the landfill,contributing to the reduction of 696 tons of CO2 equivalents per year.

Clean Mobility: Integrating Sustainability into Urban Mobility

 

We propose bicycle parking and charging stations for electric vehicles, motorcycles, and bicycles, thereby encouraging clean mobility. Additionally, upon delivery of the buildings, we provide electric bicycles for the residents' use.
